Home of the Fourteeners
A 14ers is a mountain peak with an elevation of at least 14,000 feet. The Colorado Geological Survey says there are 59 peaks that exceed 14,000 feet in elevation in Colorado. Colorado has the most of any single state. Many peak baggers try to climb all fourteeners in the contiguous United States, one particular state, or another region. Various ski mountaineers have completed ski descents of all the Colorado fourteeners. Come on start climbing and stay in our Monarch Vacation Home Rental for acclimating before the climb or resting after the climb.
